Anderson Industries was established in 1994 and has seen enormous growth during its 12 years of operation. This growth has been attributed to providing a much needed professional and encompassing service to support the underground coal industry. During this growth the Anderson Group of Companies have developed and are now strategically based in Mackay and Newcastle so as to meet the demands of mining operations in Queensland and the New South Wales coalfields.
The Anderson Group consists of five companies, Anderson Industries, Anderson Mine Services, Anderson Mining Hire, Mining Repairs and Coaltec. Each company has separate internal divisions uniquely complimenting the other to provide a superior service to the underground coal industry.
Anderson Industry's core business provides and efficient service in the design, manufacture, maintenance and repair of underground diesel machinery, supply of spare parts and general engineering. Site based tradesmen are available to fulfil tailor made maintenance and service contracts to meet customers unique requirements. Anderson Industries have designed and manufactured drill rigs of both air track drive and QD mounted models. These rigs have been extensively tested in site conditions by our own mining crews and have produced exceptional results. Anderson Industries are in the final stages of development of the MK 3 Air Track Drill Rig and these units will be available for export to the overseas market.
Mining Repairs, a subsidiary of Anderson Industries manufacture and repair the Mining Repair MR100 Flameproof alternator. This unit is fitted to the majority of the explosion protected diesel machines in the Australian coal industry. The MR100 alternator with DCBR -12 module has recently completed field trials with successful results and is currently being released in to the market.
The DCBR 12 module is an electrical safety device that is designated to automatically detect and isolate machine wiring faults before they have the opportunity to become a potential safety hazard.
Anderson Mine Services is split in to two departments, fabrication and mining operations. The fabrication department manufactures ventilation and methane drainage units, mining consumables and specifically designed products to support the underground coal industry. Mining Operations install ventilation devices and carry out a variety of secondary support functions and can offer a diverse range of underground services from site based personnel.
Anderson Mining Hire supply a full range of hire diesel machinery encompassing loaders, personnel transporters, graders, drilling rigs, stone dusters, work platforms and various attachments. The machines and attachments are available on long and short term hire agreements.
The Anderson Group of Companies have faith in the ever growing coal mining industry and are now increasing our presence in the export arena with a view to offering specialist equipment to the overseas market.
