Performing duties required for Ventilation, Secondary Support and Outbye Services
As agreed with Anderson Mine Services Pty Ltd. Will be discussed in interview stage.
DUTIES:
• Installing 6 -14 metre roof bolts.
• Installing timber props
• Nailing hardi flex sheeting to props
• Sraying concrete products
• Emptying 20kg concrete bags in pumps
• Handheld bolting
• Hanging mesh
• Operate machinery – Eimcos, Driftrunners, Grout Pumps, Gopher, Windy Borers and MBS’s.
Environment & Physical Requirements:
• Working in Underground Coal Mines.
• Working 12 hour shifts
• Working day or night shift rotation.
• Uneven & at times muddy ground
• Occassionally working at heights
• Lifting, pullling, pushing, bending, crouching, twisting, turning throughout the shift
To be successful in this role you must have:
• Minimum of three months Underground Experience
• Coal Board Medical (With Chest Xray)
• U/G Coal Industry Generic Induction
• Drug & Alcohol Screen (Less than 30 days old)
• Demonstrated commitment to safety
