POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the Fabrication Leading Hand you will be responsible for:
- Completion of fabrication work in workshop environment.
- Assist/Supervise Trades Assistants, Trainees, Apprentices in performing their duties.
- Training of Trainee and Apprentice fabrication personnel.
- Housekeeping of workshop environment.
TERMS OF EMPLOYEMENT
As agreed with Anderson Mine Services Pty Ltd. Will be discussed during interview stage.
DUTIES
- Undertake fabrication work in accordance with drawings and relevant standards and Quality assurance requirements.
- Proper operation of machine tools.
- Direct trades assistants, trainees and apprentices when assigned to.
- In conjunction with Fabrication Leading Hands and Tradesperson Boilermakers provide correct training to trainees and apprentices in accordance with their stage of development.
- Such other duties as directed within compentency and authorisation.
- To be successful in this role you must have:
- Experience within similar role.
- Positive attitude to safety
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
- Work unsupervised
