The head office of Anderson Industries is located in Mackay, the hub of the Bowen Basin coalfields, with the modern workshop purpose built to accommodate underground mining machinery.
This large 1125 square metre, eight bay workshop incorporates two 10-tonne overhead cranes, loading ramp, wash bay, paint bay and hardstand areas.
Our workshop employs over 20 experienced personnel, including Diesel Technicians and Hydraulic Technicians, for service in both the Workshop and Field positions. Hydraulic technicians are available to overhaul and repair all types of pumps, motors, hydraulic cylinders and valves .We offer a modern hydraulic test bench facility and purpose-built strip bench with honing capabilities. The Anderson Engineering department employs 5 qualified machinists and 2 apprentices with a quality mix of industry experience.
With modern facilities containing CNC lathe, CNC tool centre, elga mill, portable line borer, centre lathe, tunnel borer, mill drill, 6-metre bed lathe complete with reduction box for in-lathe rotational welding and broaching facilities, Anderson Engineering can cater to all of your engineering needs.
