Back to About Us

The Anderson Group of Companies have developed extensive supply chains throughout Australia and overseas. This has been achieved by our dedicated purchasing team utilising their vast knowledge, experience and contacts within the purchasing field. The purchasing team utilise a modern data base and financial package to monitor suppliers for cost, time lines and quality. These three factors are imperative in ensuring initial and repeat business in a competitive domestic and overseas market. We have recently appointed Bright Dynasty as our representative in Beijing. Bright Dynasty have been involved in support to the underground coal industry for many years and have a substantial network in place.

The company continually assess data from operating statements, marketing budgets, turnover and areas of growth. This assists in forming the correct strategies which are evaluated and administered by our management team. All marketing plans are monitored against projections and regular overseas marketing visits are carried out by our Managing Director and senior management to ensure that all customer requirements are being met and new requests are addressed. These overseas visits cement relationships with customers and our representatives and demonstrate that we are committed to serving the industry as a professional organisation with long term plans and goals.

The Anderson Group are accepted as being a company that can satisfy customers requirements and provide positive answers and options to problems encountered within the industry. This is achieved by continual training and development of personnel, site visits by staff from all departments as well as senior management. This also ensures a good mix of disciplines for on site discussions and networking.

The Anderson Group have invested substantially in keeping the present computer system and software packages as a leading edge tool and have installed and linked the branches of the group via terminal servers so all staff have company data at their immediate disposal. This computerised system integrates service, parts, purchasing, financial accounting and client data base. On line banking and payment systems are in place and this provides simple and effective financial transactions for customers and suppliers. Our present computer system has been updraded to ensure that we have the capabilities to keep up with our projected growth. Part of this upgrade was to install 3D drafting software for our design engineers so they can utilise the latest technology.

Employees are encouraged to embrace modern technology and actively participate in the development and maintenance of the web site. The internet will become an increasingly important part of our overall marketing mix over the next twelve months. It provides unprecedented opportunities to provide customer information to potential and existing clients in all markets. The future of the web site will be to offer this information in a choice of languages and enable clients to purchase products on line.

The Anderson Group have successfully attained AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000 certification and these systems and controls are adhered to rigorously. Constant analysis and maintenance of these systems are controlled by a quality assurance team and are subject to regular audits from both internal and external sources.

Our company policy is to provide a superior after sales service as this is an area that is critical to the future development of our business. Our sales are backed up by our capability to respond to customers needs on an urgent basis.

The Anderson Group realise the importance of experienced, proficient and competent staff and encourage additional training that will further develop skills in many areas. Time off work to attend these courses is allocated without the personnel being disadvantaged through loss of pay entitlements. We also provide in house training for personnel who want to learn Chinese and education of the Chinese culture. Export courses are attended by personnel so they are comfortable with working on line and understand regulations and standards.

The company has designated personnel who are responsible for areas of export and these personnel range from purchasing officers, trainers, service support and senior management. These personnel learn all aspects of the product range being supplied and the skills needed in the export processes.
