Shafts
AMS constructed A-frames using cranes during the pre sink stage, then modified the sinking head frame for the shaft which included fabrication of internal work platforms, ladders and stair ways.
During the shaft sinking AMS also modified the concrete formwork for lining the walls during the sinking process.
Other works included in the project was the design and installation of the external stair towers for final production head frames, all steel work, and supply of the shaft winder building.
